Wine Country has a way of making everything feel a little more romantic — golden light filtering through the vine rows, warm Sonoma County air, an unhurried pace that lets you actually be present with the people you love. It’s exactly the backdrop I look for in Vinarosa wedding photography, and it’s why Kristina and Ned chose Vinarosa for their wedding day.
Kristina and Ned are soft-spoken, warm, and genuinely sweet together — the kind of couple who make my job easy. Their photos are full of real, quiet moments between two people who clearly love being together, and that was obvious from our very first meeting.
Vinarosa: One of Sonoma County’s Most Beautiful Wedding Venues
Formerly known as Vintners Inn, Vinarosa is a luxury Wine Country estate on 92 acres of vineyards along River Road in Santa Rosa. The Provençal-inspired architecture — stone fountains, vine-covered courtyards, warm terracotta tones — gives the whole property a European feel that photographs beautifully in every season.
It’s one of my favorite venues to recommend to couples planning a Northern California wedding, and a property I return to often for Vinarosa wedding photography — whether you’re drawn to the vineyard backdrop at golden hour, the elegant courtyard, or the intimate French country indoor spaces, Vinarosa delivers on every front.
Getting Ready for the Wedding
There’s a distinct stillness to the getting-ready hours at a venue like this, and it’s one of my favorite parts of shooting Vinarosa wedding photography. The morning light in Sonoma County is soft, warm, and forgiving in all the right ways, and Kristina had thoughtfully chosen every detail of her bridal look ahead of time. That quiet intimacy made for some of my favorite images of the day.
A Picturesque Wine Country Ceremony
Kristina and Ned’s ceremony was everything you’d hope for in a Wine Country setting — vows exchanged among the vines under a beautiful floral canopy, natural light pouring in, and their closest people gathered near. The emotion in the space was palpable, and I felt lucky to capture every second of it.
Wedding Portraits in the Vineyard
If you’re planning a wedding at Vinarosa, the vineyard portrait session is non-negotiable — the rows of vines, the estate grounds, and that late-afternoon light create a genuinely timeless look. Kristina and Ned were completely natural together in front of the camera, so honestly, my job was just to put them in the right light and let them enjoy the moment.
The Vinarosa Wedding Reception
The reception spaces at Vinarosa are warm and elegant without ever feeling stuffy — exactly the kind of setting that makes for dynamic Vinarosa wedding photography. Kristina and Ned’s guests filled the evening with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and nonstop dancing, and the venue’s rich character gave every frame a depth you just don’t get from a neutral ballroom.
Planning a Vinarosa Wedding?
If you’re considering Vinarosa — you may also know it as Vintners Inn — I wholeheartedly encourage it. As a Wine Country wedding photographer who works at this estate often for Vinarosa wedding photography, I can say the grounds, the light, and the architecture always come together beautifully. The team at A Beautiful Gathering handled coordination for Kristina and Ned’s day and did a wonderful job. If you’re dreaming of a Vinarosa or Sonoma County wine country wedding of your own, I’d love to hear about it — get in touch here. Curious what else a Vinarosa wedding can look like?
